Hi,
My husband and I have 2 boxer dog's. We have had the youngest one since he was a bay he is now 3. We also have a 7 year old boxer dog named Stomper . We got him last year as we were looking for another dog for our's to play with . Well in Febuary it was a year that he had been with us and then in April he started having seizers and he was only having them at night it was a awful sight to see we just did not think he would make it through them. I took him to the vet and they ran blood work and urine test and they came out o.k , so the vet is thinking it is probably just epilepsy . He started on medicine and it made him really drowsy and he runs in to things but the vet said he will get used to the medicine which I think he has. Th medicine is not really working as he his having them during the day when no one is with him. I think he is scared as when some one is home he comes and gets you before he has one. I can not imagine what it is like for him to be alone. They told me not to leave him alone with the other dog as if he got in his face during one he may get bit. They want to run more test and up his medicine. We are having our first  baby due November 1st and these seizers have become an issue. As there has been some bleeding with them but the vet is thinking it is blood vessels blowing . I am terribly worried that after being up with a crying baby then dealing with a seizer and sometimes he urinates and with the bleeding, I think it will be terribly hard. I feel he may not get the attention he needs. Also we can not afford the vet bills as they want to keep checking his blood levels. He is a very good dog. Other then his seizers he does not pee in the house also he walks well on a leash and never tears anything up in the house, loves to be outside if it is not to hot. He is friendly to anyone that comes over and I am hoping if you are willing to help to find him a good home to go to . I know that is not an easy question but I am hopeful  as he deserves good home with attention he needs during his seizers. He is up to date on all shots and is on flea medicine we love him and would rather him go to a good home . I am including a picture of him.He is the one on the right.

Sheba

Sheba

 Contact: Kristy  mailto:iammom2poodles@yahoo.com

Sheba is a 2 year old Aussie/Boxer mix who is in need of a loving place to call home. She is smart and seems to have great instincts, she would make a great service dog if she had a little training. Sheba is currently located at the Small Dog Rescue and Retirement Home, but the owner has become ill and can no longer care for the dogs. Her partner who was supposed to help her, suddenly quit! She is afraid that she will have to send them all back to shelters where they will be killed. I told her we would find them another place to go to avoid that possibility. I would appreciate any help with this situation and I know that she would as well.

Jazz and Lexi Smith

Jazzi   Jazziand Lexi

Jazz - loves to run, jump and chase. Fun, loving and extremely energetic. VERY  good with children and other animals but will not listen well to return to you if she's left go in an open field - she just wants to run and jump. Listens extremely well and returns to doggy crate upon command. House trained and very protective. Likes to sleep with you and lie on your lap. Jaz has one blue eye and one brown eye, hence the name we choose JAZZI.
Lexi - Very dominant. Loves to play and fetch and run as much as Jazz, BUT will return to you upon command. Lexi is very aggressive and doesn't like anything or any little people getting in the way of her attention. Very protective of her surrounding, also well trained and returns or goes to her doggy crate upon command. House-trained but loves to chew so must keep a chewy bone down for her or keep tempting items up. Does not interact with other animals well BUT will tolerate children although the look on her face is, "git this kid away or else"! Lexi also loves to sleep with you and lie on the couch with you extremely loving and well trained.
Both girls are THE best pets anyone could ask for, however, with my husband gone to Afghanistan, I cannot give them the attention, love and exercise they need or deserve. They both love to run circles and we have no fence to allow this nor can we afford one. We just want them to go to a home that will be the best for them and the new owner.

To your success in all your life's journey's

Princess is up for adoption through the Shelby County Humane Society. She is a wonderful dog looking for her forever home! Princess is an American Staffordshire Terrier, about 15 months old and weighs about 35 pounds. She is such a sweetie, she loves to kiss and snuggle! She is crate trained, housebroken, and walks very well on a leash. Princess gets along great with everyone, she plays very well with the 3 dogs in her foster home. She is current on vaccines and has been spayed. Can you please pass this along so we can try to find Princess the home she deserves! Look at the difference in this boy!!!!

7-3-08:   He is a black nuetered Male, about 2 years old. 80lbs. He has a cropped tail and natural ears.  He Loves his tennis ball! He will run all day chasing that ball!  He is full of energy and very playful.  He is also very sweet and loves to be around you.  He has to be where you are in the house.  He needs to go to someone who is very active!  He is a Dane/Boxer mix, but the personality is 100% Boxer!

Barlow is a Black boy who came out of Georgia, he was about to be put down at a shelter.  He is 1 and a half years old. We got him into a boarding facilty
where he was treated for Heartworms.  Now he is neutered and in a foster home (mine actually!) in Knoxville.  He is a very sweet mushy boy! He just wants love!  He was pretty emaciated and still needs to put more weight on... since the pictures were taken he has gained 10 lbs.  He loves to fetch tennis balls,
He does have his whole tail and has some problems with it breaking open but we are working on getting it healed up.  He has happy tail!  He is very calm in the
house and will just curl up and sleep when inside!!
